Designing, building and installing bespoke automated stretch wrappers.
FULLY INTEGRATED STRETCH WRAPPING MACHINE SYSTEMS
Customised Integrated Wrapping Systems
For small to medium sized businesses or those with lower production volumes, a smaller stretch wrapper may be sufficient to meet their wrapping needs. On the other hand, industrial enterprises with high production demands may require a larger stretch wrapper that can handle higher capacity wrapping.
We are experts in customised integrated stretch wrapping machine installations working across various industries, including manufacturing, logistics, transport, building supplies, construction, paving, food processing and e-commerce.

What types of stretch wrappers do we install?
Automated stretch wrapping systems prove to be highly beneficial as part of a production line as they streamline a labour-intensive process. Our comprehensive range of wrapping systems are designed to suit various packaging needs and include:
- Fully Automatic Machines: These machines are designed for high-volume operations where minimal human intervention is required. They can automatically feed, wrap, and discharge products, making them ideal for continuous, large-scale packaging lines.
- Power Pre-Stretch: PPS wrappers use a pre-stretch mechanism to stretch the film before it is applied to the product. This process enhances film strength, reduces film usage, and provides superior load containment. These systems are efficient and cost-effective, particularly for high-volume applications.
- Turntable Wrappers: Turntable wrappers involve a rotating platform where the product is placed. As the turntable spins, the film is wrapped around the product. These are suitable for a variety of load sizes and shapes, and they offer flexibility in wrapping patterns and tension control.
Rotary Ring, Arm and Orbital Wrappers
- Rotary Arm Wrappers: In rotary arm wrappers, the load remains stationary while a rotary arm moves around it, applying the stretch film. This method is particularly useful for unstable or very heavy loads, as it minimizes the risk of product displacement during wrapping.
- Orbital Wrappers: Orbital wrappers utilize a horizontal ring that rotates around the product, which moves through the ring on a conveyor. This type of wrapper is excellent for long products like pipes, rods, and profiles, ensuring complete and secure wrapping.
- Ring Wrappers: Similar to orbital wrappers, ring wrappers use a rotating ring mechanism to wrap the product. These are often used for palletised loads and can handle a wide range of product dimensions. They provide high-speed wrapping and are suitable for both lightweight and heavy-duty applications.
Each of these wrapping systems has its unique advantages and applications, allowing you to choose the best fit based on your specific packaging requirements. Integrating these systems can significantly enhance efficiency, reduce material costs, and improve load stability and protection.
What is the wrapper installation process?
When our customers approach us to complete a wrapping systems installation project, we first need to consider the production volume, product sizes and shape, operator skills levels and budgets.
Our project planning through to implementation involves assigning a project manager, who will keep you informed every step of the way, starting with assessing the scope of work, timescales, expected outcomes, budget and business and environmental goals. We will then design concept drawings, work with you to discuss and approve specifications, forecast install dates, build your stretch wrapping system, conduct FAT and finally installing, commissioning and testing your machine with KwikFilm stretch film.
Servicing and Aftercare
As part of our full solution offering, all machine installations are complete with a service contract agreement to ensure your equipment is running optimally. This involves a three-month aftercare meeting, scheduled audits throughout the year (at times to suit you) and a dedicated account manager who will offer support and advice whenever you need it.
Our bespoke systems are complemented by our high-performance range of KwikFilm machine film which are formulated for a variety of applications. Our load containment team will advise on the most compatible film for your stretch wrapper, to help you save more and waste less.
